All those who stand against me shall perish. I will show no mercy as I slaughter all of my enemies, starting with the good kingdoms and finally the Shadow Dwellers. The Mystical Realm will bow before me.

Well... if I was waging war against someone... this is not something I'd want to see on the battle field >.> but I do actually like how it came out

This is a good path for you, clearly I can see some cool points in this piece and you're creative enough for sure.
Tech stuff:
Your line work looks cool. Perspective is missing, you should check some tuts about this topic, your images would improve a lot.
The color values aren't there yet. Meaning, there is a great separation on your front element, ground and background. The background for example is to of a strong dark/red color, things get fadded at a distance.
If you like this kind of work, visit youtube, search Feng Zhu for exemple and check is episodes. You'll learn a lot.
Impact is your strongest asset on this piece. the mistic and glow felling is really cool and well done.
I can see the horse seems to be an OC of yours! Very good idea on the glowing mane, tail and hoofs - they look absolutely fabulous! It does remind me of Gandalfs horse a bit, but maybe that's just out of context. I like your line work a lot - it looks very thought through and polished! I can see you aren't very strong with backgrounds but that still might take some time - I know it can be annoying to draw them but they do add to the piece. Except for the background I really enjoy looking at it!
yes I still have trouble with backgrounds, but I am getting a lot better at them, I practice all the time and thank you haha the nightmare in a way is an OC too I guess, the main design is for a roleplaying group though, the girl on his back is the main OC in this picture

Tech issues aside I really like this one!
